On the road again...

We are headed to Northeast Missouri this weekend. I wish we could stay there longer, but work doesn't allow for it! I am hoping Greg gets off work mid afternoon so we can get on the road at a decent time, but it is highly unlikely. We have a feeling we will make it to Kansas City and then stop for the night.

We are the proud new owners of our third horse (or so I'm told). It is only a couple months old, so we won't actually get it until the Fall. Still no cows....

A big congrats goes out to our friends Toni and Tracy who got engaged over the weekend. Toni stopped by on Saturday and Tracy did an excellent job picking out the ring. It is beautiful. They are looking at a September/October wedding. Toni's sister is getting married this weekend.

I was innocently watering my flowers last night when I about peed myself due to the fact of a snake hanging out around my flowers. It was about 3.5 feet long. I screamed (thankfully no one was around) and jumped in my car. I watched the snake frolic around my flowers, steps, sidewalk, etc. Finally he went under the porch so I ran like the wind, jumped the bottom steps and went inside. I didn't come out again until this morning. He was a fast booger too, he was moving like crazy. I'm definately going to be a little more wary about water the flowers and weeding around them.

I have big plans for the weekend, new tires for the car, baby shower, family gathering, ordering wedding pictures, and seeing friends.

For those of you from P-town: in case you didn't hear, Mr. Caldwell had an accident and is in ICU at Blessing. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Have a great weekend, next week I should hopefully have pictures from the baby shower!
