Hump day!

I did a practice run through of my defense seminar today. Some fellow students listened and gave me some great feedback. I'm nervous but not nearly as much as I will be on FRIDAY!

Greg and I went to the Timed Events last Friday at the Lazy E in Guthrie. It was fun.

The weather is beautiful today, the mid 70's I think. I'm thinking about going home and working there on my thesis stuff.

Spring Break is next week, but I'm going to catch up on my work hours and hopefully make any changes to my thesis that need to be done.

Greg went to dinner last night with his old judging team coach who was judging goat showmanship at OYE. I was hoping to go and see some of the shows, but it doesn't look like that will happen. I'm booked until Friday and next week Greg is busy all weekend.

Oh - OYE is the Oklahoma Youth Expo. It is the largest junior show in the country or something. In some species you have to win at the county level to be able to show at it. The show season is different here than in Missouri. Greg said Chip judged 1100 kids in GOAT SHOWMANSHIP last night. He said it took like 6 hours or something.

Back to work....

Hey...I have been to the Lazy E! Only when we were there, there was nothing going on. It was a beautiful place, though. I couldn't believe how far off the "beaten path" it was! There is a really neat little western store almost directly across the road from the front entrance (if memory serves me well) that Dusty and I ventured into. Maybe sometime soon, we can come down and visit and go see something happen at the Lazy E! Oh yeah...and my cousin used to work there, too!

just think, 24 hours from right now, you'll be DONE! (at least with the hard part). You're presentation is great; I know you'll do a super job!
