It's March? What?!?!

These are all pictures from February. Blogger wasn't letting me load pics for some reason.
Tyler on Sunday, we will be crawling officially soon. We can scoot backwards and roll to get to where we want to be.

Tyler moved himself to his book collection on Sunday night and preceded to pull each book out, chew on it, then set it aside and repeat with a new book. On a side note, he will NOT be wearing these jammies again. Everytime I've put him in them, he blows out and we have to have a wipe down and change jammies.

When we had a 104 fever for 3.5 days. I think it was due to the two teeth that came in.

He is pulling up on us and if you hold his fingers he will stand up.

He really wanted the book, so he was digging through his clean clothes for it. He watched me hide it in there.

Chilling in his bathrobe from Miss Lacey

February was interesting, we had RSV and both Grandmas came and stayed (at different times). Tyler slept through the night twice, got two teeth, and had 4 snow days with Mommy. He can get to wherever he likes now by rolling and scooting. Its funny to watch. No more sitting him on the blanket and him staying put. He is eating solids really well. I've been making most of my own baby food with a few exceptions. I'm going to make another batch of stuff this weekend. He can hold his own bottle and we are working on drinking from a sippy cup. He has gotten baby puffs from his high chair tray to his mouth using his fingers a few times. We are still working on the pincher grasp though.

We have a tooth!

and a 104.3 fever and nothing wrong with us. We've made two trips to the doctor this week and only have breathing treatments when we need them.

Happy Birthday Great Grandpa!

Today is Great Grandpa Boettcher's Birthday! We are celebrating it with Grandma Lehenbauer and the snow storm. I have a lot of updates to share, hopefully I remember them all.

Grandma is here because Tyler tested positive for RSV on Thursday and therefore could not go back to daycare until yesterday. However, we wanted to keep him home for a few extra days to be on the safe side. Mom headed here on Saturday, but had a tire blow out in Olathe, Kansas. Luckily, my cousins live there and she was able to call them and she stayed with them. She got here and Sunday and was planning to leave today. However, with the winter weather/blizzard, she may be here until Thursday. I'm glad because Greg is out of town and its nice to have someone else here with me. The current temp is 8 degree and windchill is in the negatives. Tyler is getting breathing treatments and had some antibiotics. We either caught the RSV early or he didn't get it too bad. He still ate, slept, and played like normal, just had a cough and runny nose. RSV, strep throat, flu, and bronchitis are running rampant in Stillwater and in daycare right now.

Tyler is getting the hang of rolling over, except his arm gets in the way. He has really taken off eating solid foods lately. We are switching him over to formula. It was a little rough in the beginning, but I think we are ok now. I'm hoping to make baby food today or tomorrow with mom here so I don't have to buy it.
He is a really happy baby and he smiles, laughs, and plays by himself very well. He is in the stage of reaching for everything and putting everything in his mouth. Hopefully some day we will get some teeth. We put the other car seat in my car this weekend (it was 78 degrees) but Tyler has yet to ride in it. Hopefully it will work just fine for him.

Other than that January was fairly uneventful. Tyler spent his first night away from us. Greg and I went to a Reba & George Strait concert and stay OKC with some friends. Toni and Tracy Woods kept Tyler for us. I think Wyatt and him had fun playing together. I'll try to post pictures sometime this week of it.

Keep warm out there!

6 months!

6 months! Tyler had his 6 month check up with lots of shots. This week has been a little rough though. We are headed to the doctor tomorrow, assuming the weather is ok and we can make it to town.

Guess who is 5 months?

Tyler James is!

He didn't want to wear his socks, it's his new trick. Those little boogers are hard to keep track of.

Tyler can set up by himself for a little bit, before falling over. Hence, I was there to catch him. He looks bald, but there is some hair growth going on, it's just blond.
We celebrated my birthday a little early for a few reasons. 1) I wanted an ice cream cake and wanted to have time to eat. 2) Greg's schedule is crazy and he won't be home until late on my birthday. 3) Kara was over for dinner. 4) Our weekend is hectic.
Another five month picture, he is in the process of pulling the socks off.
We've had a rough couple of days. He is been getting a low grade fever, not eating or sleeping. But the fever is coming and going. He has also been spitting up, this morning he got me good. I had to take another shower as it was in my hair, on my face, shirt, and pants. I'm not sure what is going on, I hope it is just a tooth coming or something. His skin was better, but it has seemed to revert back to its old habits lately, especially around his eyes.

Is it Christmas time already?

Sorry, no pictures today. The most recent ones are a) on my laptop and b) being used for the Christmas card, so no sneak peeks.

I can't believe it's December and 2010 is almost over. What a year it has been! Greg and I usually get a cedar tree out of a friends pasture for our tree. We decided this year to skip a tree due to time constraints and we are afraid the smell could bother Tyler. Cedar allegeries in Oklahoma are a huge problem. I'm sad we don't have a tree but I'm not sure where we would put it. Instead I pulled out a few decorations and are displaying Tyler's first Christmas ornaments. I have a great start to the Willow Tree nativity scene and hope to get a new piece or two this year (hint, hint Eileen :) ). I think I have most of the shopping done. We decided to hold off on getting Tyler anything until after Christmas. I'm looking forward to spending the holidays with family, I only wish Greg could take more time off.

Tyler is growing like crazy and is showing his personality more and more each day. He has started making a squeaking noise and sounds like a bird. He thinks it's great. He loves to chew on everything or at least stick it in his mouth. No teeth yet, that I can tell anyway. We have tried rice and barley cereal and he HATES it. Absolutely Hates it. So this weekend we may try a fruit or veggie. He will be 5 months on Monday, so it should be fine. I keep trying every weekend and someday he will decide to like it, I hope. He loves to chew on the spoon and lets me stick in his mouth, as long as it is empty. Silly kid. He definetly recognizes Greg and I. We can get him to smile just by smiling at him, usually. He likes to watch TV, especially football, he will do everything in his power to watch. Tyler has rolled from his stomach to his back a few times for me, but nothing on regular basis. He moves around by rolling from side to side.

I have to get to work - Have a great day!

Pictures for November

Kids at the sale, minus Tyler

Tyler with Grandma and Grandpa at the tree farm

Mom says she was standing in a hole and that's why I'm so much taller.

Tyler likes to take up the whole bed when I lay him in it with me in the mornings.

Just hanging out
